The baby has been a little active this evening, I have felt it move around some:) Every day that passes is a blessing! We are thankful for each moment we are pregnant. No major issues. Thanks to all who are thinking and praying for us! We are blessed to have such a wonderful support system and have such wonderful friends and family!

7/26/10 (24 3/7 weeks) Day 19 in the hospital.
We had a sono this morning. They said the baby looks great, blood flow to the baby looks really good, and heartbeat was 150. No measurements this week, but will have them done next week. Baby is moving around a ,but Jeff still cant feel the baby. I think he is a bit bummed, but I am sure that in the next week he will be able to feel the little one!
Bed rest is starting to play with my emotions and nerves. I think I may have been a bit rude to my nurse early this morning, but as the day went on it got better. It usually gets all better when Jeff gets here. Plus if you know me well, you should know that I am not a morning person. I am just taking it day by day!

7/23/10 (24weeks!!!) Day 16 in the hosp... YES!!! We made it to 24 weeks! Another big milestone. Took the glucose tolerance test early this morning! I PASSED! Have had a great past couple days! No big issues thus far. They will continue to monitor me for infections, but other wise we are coasting! We are praying to make it to at least 28 weeks. Whatever the case is, I can not deliver until 8/25. That's the big move day for the NICU here at OSF. Things would be 100x's easier if we delivered after the big move!
I have the greatest husband in the entire world. Usually Jeff comes and visits for a few hours each evening and then comes Friday night and stays until Sunday. Well, last night he had me convinced that he did not have a ride up to visit for the evening, then he showed up about 5pm and stayed overnight. So that means he was here Thursday night and will stay through Sunday!! And then today he arranged to have Jim's Steakhouse for lunch! What a great guy:)
Other than having to lay in bed all day things are going great! My body hurts a little and I am starting to get really sick of the TV. But like I said before, it will all be worth it in the end! I am not doing this for myself anymore. I am doing this for the beautiful little baby that is growing and developing as we speak!
Visitors welcome (just no kids under 13)

Have a great weekend all:)

7/21 (23 5/7 weeks) Day 14 in the hospital! Well so far its been a great day! Nothing going on thus far:) All my monitors have been really good, no contractions and heartbeat has been 145-155:) Have been in bed for two whole weeks, my feet have not hit the floor for 14days! YIKES!! Even though this bedrest things bites, it is 100% worth it! You just have to think that I am not doing this for myself anymore, there is another life you have to think about now! Thanks for all the positive thought and prayers! Jeff and I have our fingers crossed and prayers going we can make it for a while longer! DAY by DAY!

7/19 (23 3/7 weeks) Day 12 in the hospital (on strict bedrest). So overall had a great weekend and so far a pretty good day. Had a sono early this morning, just t0check in on the little one. Baby is measuring great and weighing approx 1 lb 4 oz! Heartrate strong at 155:) Laying in bed 24hours a day kinda stinks, but the end result will be great! Thanks to everyone for their positive thoughts and prayers! Visitors always welcome (just no kids under 13). Here's wishing and praying for many more weeks in bed:)

7/17/10- (23 1/7 WEEKS) - Yes we made it to viability! Pretty good week so far! Baby's heartbeat has been excellent at 140-150. Both sonos have shown that the head is down, which is good cause it means the head is blocking things from falling out!!! However, there is no fluid around the baby... but at this stage in pregnancy its not a big deal!!! So my goal make it to 28weeks!!! In am going to be here at osf until delivery and am on strict bedrest.
7/10/10 - (22 1/7 weeks)- well today was a bad day. I woke bleeding really bad with yet again mild contractions. I got moved back over to the labor unit for closer monitoring. Well after a lot of bleeding and some contractions things got better in the early afternoon! After arguing with my OB on call we agreed to start indocin to stop the contractions and antibiotics to prevent infection. The on call OB was a bit set it what she was going to do...Which was going to be nothing. I guess normally they would not see effectiveness in using contraction stopping meds in women who have ruptured. But sometimes they do, and I guess it worked for me!!! They moved me back to antepartum late Sunday afternoon!
The beginning: 7/7/10 (21 5/7 weeks) - So I was at work and started feeling a bit crammpy. The girls talked me into heading upstairs to labor triage to get checked out. Glad I did because the cramping got so bad and within o few short hours my water broke. My OB said that I would prob deliver within a few hours. Well lucky for me the cramping/contractions went away and no baby was delivered!! And for the next couple days we just hung out!
