10/31/10- HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Jaxon is 12weeks old...Yikes what a big boy. He is weighing in at 6lbs 9ounces. He is getting to be such a big boy, he is going to be over 7lbs by the time he comes home. We think he is finally starting to get the whole bottle thing. He has taken the whole amount for the past three times. They are offering him the bottle three times a day! What a big boy. Maybe we will have him home in a week or two. Other than that he is just hanging out at the hospital and growing big. He is just growing and eating. What a big boy:) Enjoy these pictures.... Awwww what a cute a boy...Jaxon was a monkey and daddy was a banana! Mommy did not have a costume just a cute pink shirt. Lisa, one of our favorite nurses, had Jaxon in his costume and some really cute photos done for us!

10/17/10- Jaxon is 10 weeks 3 days old! He is weighing in at 5lbs 7oz and is 17.5 inches long! He is getting to be such a big boy! He is totally off the oxygen and has been for about 5days, he just need to learn to take the bottle! He is getting better at it every day:) We hope to have him home by Halloween, but really we are on Jaxons schedule! When he is ready then we will be able to bring him home!!! I am sure he will get there soon! We are just very anxious, but being patient:) He had his Cowboys onesie on today, but they lost! Oh well, Jaxon looked very cute in it! Jeff, Jaxon and I all matched!

10/13/10- Jaxon is doing great (so far) without the oxygen! This makes mom and dad very very very happy! He is being such a big boy:) Now all he has to concentrate on is taking that bottle!!! After he starts taking that bottle we will get to bring him home!!! He will do it all on his own time schedule! He will do what he wants, when he wants!! He is getting a bit more coordinated with his suck, swallow, breath though! He usually has been taking between 5ml and 12ml of the bottle! He gets a total of 37ml. Like I said, he will get there!!! Its such a great feeling, getting to hold Jaxon! We are truly a blessed family! All they way back to when Jennifer donated bone marrow to save my life, to having a wonderful/amazing friend who helped us complete our family. I love Jaxon so much, more than words can express!!!

10/12/10- Jaxon is 9weeks 5days old!!! He is doing really good!! He has been trialing off oxygen since about 530pm on 10/11 and so far so good. (its currently 1241 am). What a big boy. His weight today was 5lbs 2.4ounces and 17.5inches long:) They did a head sono today and all looks great! Nothing to worry about, per neurologist!! The neuro doc said he will just see him one month after discharge, just to follow up!!! What a big boy he has become!!! Now he just needs to start taking that bottle, he will in his own time! Hopefully we will have him home before November 1st!!!

10/8- Jaxon is getting to be such a BIG boy... He is weighing in at 4lbs 15.7 ounces!! He is growing so fast:) We have been giving him tubby baths every few days. He hated it the first time, and now he is tolerating it... Maybe eventually he will start liking it! Thanks to all our great friends and family and all the prayers!!! The doctors say that he may be off the oxygen before home...lots of prayers needed!

10/7/10-- Gosh its been so long since I have posted..sorry:( Jaxon is doing great! He is still on a bit of oxygen 1/16L and still needs that. We have tried to wean but he still needed that little smidge. He also needs to learn how to take the bottle, he will in time. We are told he will prob be home by the 1st part of November! We are so excited and cant wait. The house it totally ready! We had our baby shower last weekend and now have everything we need (except diapers! haha)!!! We are totally ready!!! He is weighing in at 4lbs 12oz, what a big boy!!
