Sears...Portraits :)
Here are some nice new pictures! We miss our Steve (our photography) but Sears was an ok substitute. Our regular photographer (Steve) is opening a studio in Pekin and is not doing photos this month! Well Jaxon is due for his 8 month shots and Easter pictures! (So everybody go to stevecraftportraits.com for all your photos needs- he is amazing) But like I said Sears did the trick for now!
Wow 8 months!
Wow can you believe it, Jaxon is 8 months old. They grow up so fast:) He is still sleeping great thru the night! However, he has now decided that 530-6am is the new wake up time! Usually though, after an hour or two, he tends to go back to sleep for a bit. We are still working on the rolling over and sitting up thing. He is so close for both. His balance is still a bit wobbly, but he is getting there. He does try to roll over, he does with just a smidge bit of assistance. He is loving his baby food, well except for the mac and cheese and the chicken noodle. He is very temperamental from day to day. One day he likes the peas and green beans and other days he hates it! I guess that's a typical kid for ya! Just wait until he gets bigger I guess, when you can't really force feed it to him! At least now I can sort of "trick" him and force him to kinda eat it...haha.
My beginning sewing attempts! I made Jaxon a taggie blanket!
He loves it :)

Silly boys!
At one point he tried to eat Jeff's hair and then his ear! Silly boy! I believe the boy (Jaxon) is cutting teeth! he left a nice puddle of drool on Jeff's head!
Watching the Sunday NASCAR Race!
Go Denny Hamlin!
Wow can you believe it my baby boy is 8 months old! Yikes, boy how the time flies. He is getting to be so big. He does something new and fun everyday! Its great! More photos to come in the next couple days!
Central Illinois Auto Show--Check it out!
April 1st 2011- Jaxon's 1st auto show! Even though he prob could have cared less about the cars and more about all the bright lights and cool colors, we had a good time! Mom had a one track mind....roasted almonds! YUMMMMM. Little did I know one of Jaxon's primary nurses were selling them and the almond both! Turns out here family runs the famous "roasted Almond" booth! Yummm. So it turned out all good, mom got almonds and Jaxon got to see one of his nurses :) Dad got to see the mustangs, the thing he looks forward to the most! He was a bit disappointed when there was really only one on the show room floor. But whatever the case, daddy and Jaxon got their picture taken in it! I was all excited about the jeeps! Someday maybe I will own a jeep, got my photo taken with my baby boy in front of the awesome Jeep! Another big plus was that Uncle Andy flew in from Tulsa for a couple days and we got to spend some time with him! Andy is such a busy bee with school and work! Its almost a holiday when he finally does get to come home. Its like the world (well our world) stops and it revolves around Andy! Its great!! We love it when Andy comes home, wish he could make it home more often!

Another weekend, back to work
Another weekend worked and passed for me, but back to work for some. Busy weekend at work but overall a good one. It always helps when you have good hood mates. I had a different assignment both days, per my request, but good hood mates both days! I always hate it when I have to work two days in a row because I don't get to see me handsome baby boy. Luckily he was just getting ready for be tonight when I walked in, and I got to give him smoochies before he went to sleep! Plus, I do have the next two days off and get to spend the whole both days with my handsome boy. Also, one of my amazing coworkers is experiencing the lovely antepartum unit at OSF, she is about 24 weeks along, please keep her in your prayers.
We are planning making this a grandparent week. Going to see both of Jaxon's great grandmas this week. Jaxon and daddy had a pretty good weekend also! They went shopping and out to lunch with grandma Vicki on Saturday and then watched the NASCAR race and dinner and grandma Carol's and Grandpa Vance's. So overall a great weekend for the boy's. Jaxon sure is taking to the baby food, he just loves it. He will pretty much eat anything that you put into his mouth. However, he is not to fond of the green beans, but he manages to choke them down. He is also a very messy eater. He usually manages to get the food in his hair, on his leg, and usually up his nose. He always is trying to eat the bib also. I always tell him that the food will taste much better, but he is very insistent on eating the bib. Here are a few pictures taken about a week ago. Enjoy:)
Like is said... Very messy eater!
