7 Months Old!!

Wow can you believe it that Jaxon is 7 months old! Time has gone by so fast! He is 11 lbs 7.4 oz. He is laughing out loud and trying to roll over! Where does the time go? Enjoy the pictures!!!

6 months:)

Wow can you believe it? Jaxon is 6 months old! Time sure has gone by fast. He is a 1/2 a year old! He is going to be crawling before you know it! This past week he has discovered his voice...he has been "talking" so much:) He had his repeat cookie swallow test today, the test where they see if he can start taking thin liquids. He passed! So for two weeks we will make his food thinner, and then after that we will just start giving him straight formula! YAY!!! He is also taking baby foods now. He loves it...he does such a great job with it! He is weighing in at 11lbs 6oz and 23 inches long...wow! Enjoy the photos!!!

We nominated Jaxon's favorite RN for this award they give to nurses at osf. I guess there were 138 nominations for December and Lisa won!!! She is the best nurse (except his mommy...haha). She knew just when to push Jaxon and when to step back!! What a special nurse Lisa is:)

1/31/2011- Is been a crazy last couple weeks...On 1/17/2011 Jaxons great grandpa peck passed away very unexpectedly. The funeral was 1/21/2011, it went well. Grandma peck is doing alright. Having bad days, but doing alright. Hopefully the weather is not terrible tomorrow. Jaxon has an appt tomorrow afternoon and then we are hoping to go see grandma after. We are also hoping to go see the office staff at SHER and show them the little miracle they help to make happen, JAXON!!! Jaxon also has his repeat cookie swallow test tomorrow. Its a test that shows whether or not he is aspirating his formula into his lungs still. Maybe will be able to quit thickening his formula! We are also crossing our fingers and praying hard that we will be able to get rid of the monitor tomorrow :) Otherwise, he is just growing big and being a happy boy. He is 11lbs and 22inches long! Wow what a big boy!!! He is going to be 6 months old this weekend. Wow can you believe it, time is going by so fast! Enjoy the photos!!!

Jaxon in 5 months old...Yikes! He is getting to be so big. He is weighing in at about 11lbs. Wow my once 2lbs miracle baby is getting to be such a BIG boy:) He is starting to "laugh" and smile when we play with him...Its great! He is starting to interact a whole lot more, we love it:) I think our dog hates Jaxon...she is not mean to him or anything, she just ingores the fact that he is even here at all. When we hold him and she wants to be on our lap, she just pushes her way in. Luckly, she ia a smaller dog so she does not hurt him or anything! I am sure, well hoping, that she will eventually get it that Jaoxn on here to stay!! Enjoy the photos!!

12/30/10-- Merry Christmas to Jaxon!!! Jaxon had a very good christmas, at home with his mommy and daddy!!! He got a nice red wagon from Santa and some fun toys from mom and dad. He also got some fun toys from his very loving family :) It has been a very special year for my little guy. We are so very lucky to have our little guy with us today and very lucky to have him home. We love him so very much. I never knew how lucky I was until god blessed me with my amazing husband and the with my beautiful son. God must really love me... words/song from Craig Morgan. I love being a mommy better than anything in the world!!! I am now part of a great new club...The mommy club! I love it :) I never though this day would come...I never thought I would ever become a mommy and never thought that my husband would be a daddy. Well now our dreams have come true...WE ARE PARENTS!!! All I wanted for chirstmas was a healthy baby...and now I have the best baby ever...JAXON EDWARD! I love him so much :)

Merry Christmas! Jaxon and his Mom and Dad wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!!! We want to thank everyone for all your support this past year and all the prayers. What a year it has been. Starting way back in February when Jeff and I started our final journey down the IVF road. We were then blessed by a wonderful singleton pregnancy:) Then comes July 7th. The worst day of my entire life (so far). I was for sure this was then end for us, I was for sure my family would remain incomplete. Well after some arguing with a Doctor we made it until I was 25 6/7 weeks. Then after a long stay in the NICU, 100 days...YIKES!!!, we made it home with our perfect little boy! He is truly our Christmas miracle. The old saying..all I want for christmas is my two front teeth...well all I wanted for christmas was my little boy! My wish has been fullfilled : )   Thanks again to everyone! What a blessing (and scary) year this has been. Now I am a mother...wow...Its so hard to believe. Sometimes I just look at Jaxon and think " WOW he is mine, I dont have to give him back, he belongs to me" I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mother!

12/5/10- HAPPY 4 MONTHS JAXON:) I cant believe it, our little boy is four months old! He is weighing in at about 8lbs 13oz...Yikes! What a BIG boy!!! We love, love, love having our little man at home! Ellie is starting to warm up to him! I think she is really just tolerating him if anything. Pretty much same old...eat, sleep, eat, sleep...and on and on:) He does have some small awake times now that we are able to "play" with him...its great!!! I cant believe it...Im a mommy! Its so sureal...I love that little boy of mine! My family is now complete...Mom, Dad, son, dog! Love it:)

11/26- Well not a lot going on now that Jaxon is home. His days are pretty much eat, sleep, eat, sleep...and on and on and on.... haha! But we would have it no other way!!!
